Individual Coaching Services
I work with individual leaders to help them navigate the challenges they face, including becoming a more effective communicator, identifying and working through blind spots, gaining confidence without hubris, working through strategic initiatives, and identifying and reaching their professional goals. Often senior leaders do not have trusted, non-biased advisers to speak freely with about their vision and strategic ideas. I serve as that trusted adviser and bring to bear my extensive experience in the legal and financial services industries.
Team Coaching Services
I work with teams to explore team dynamics, communications and culture. I use professional assessment tools to help facilitate honest and thoughtful discussions with the group and then typically individual sessions to help team members understand their role and how they could best contribute to the group to increase overall performance.

During Bob’s 26-year career at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, LLP, Bob helped build the private funds practice globally. He was closely involved in expanding the practice into Asia and the Middle East in addition to growing the US domestic practice.
During Bob’s career he counseled founders and senior managers of alternative investment funds in structuring and building their fund platforms through new strategic initiatives as well as their bread and butter platforms. He also helped larger fund clients bring new products to market.
Bob served as a trusted adviser to senior executives and managers as well as members of the legal teams, fund administrators and client service teams at his clients.

During his legal career, in addition to serving on various administrative and strategic committees at Cleary, Bob held the following leadership positions:

Bob graduated from the New York Law School, summa cum laude, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Roger J. Miner, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Prior to beginning his career as a practicing lawyer, Bob was a member of the New York City Police Department, where he held the rank of Sergeant. During his NYPD days, Bob worked with community leaders in improving community-police relations and worked closely with senior leadership of the Department in developing compliance procedures and other accountability metrics.
